So, as you may have seen on my About Me page, I am not a "professional" photographer. Nevertheless, I've taken a few classes, done some studying on my free time, and spent who knows how many hours looking through a view finder. I love taking pictures, but basically, I just wing it.
As for editing, I have a Photoshop Elements 10. I never use it. I use PicMonkey.com for my borders, signature, and real basic light edits. It's all I need and super easy to use. Right now, the only flash that I have is internal. Without an external flash, often times my photos will turn out dark and require a little editing. Occasionally I experiment with softening or mattes, but generally no. If I do however, I will post so in a short caption beneath my photo.
Portraits are the area of photography I like the most. Over the last two years I've done a variety of portraiture, from senior shots to prom sessions. They're so much fun. During the summer time I do like to play around with landscape and foliage photography, but considering our summers here in this state are kinda short, you probably won't see too many of those from me.
Just because I'm not a "professional" doesn't mean my photos are any less mine. I'd like to ask that you do not take/download/use in any way my pictures. Or at least, not without my permission. My contact information can be found in my complete google profile.
Feel free to comment and critique the photos I have posted. Feedback is great, even if it is constructive criticism. I'll take what I can get. Thanks for reading!
